Pebble Creek

Pebble Creek is a small, locally owned ski resort near Pocatello, Idaho. When the season is good and the powder plentiful, many turns can be had; but, that is not always the case. To be fair, it is like that for most of the area when the season is warm and dry like it was last year (2025-26) - Pebble just seems to get hit the hardest.
Lessons are pretty cheap and so are the rentals - but, I'd recommend getting them from an actual board shop if you like gear that doesn't ride like a rental …

For a beginner, the green runs are perfect. There is a decent balance between the length and steepness of the runs - enough to keep even the newest sliding without feeling like they are going to die. That said, I do recommend keeping away from the right slide of the slope. The ski school frequents that part and it can easily get congested - but, there is also a sudden grade change that could be frightening for the unaware.
Overall, it's a great resort. For the more experienced riders, I recommend hitting Skyline Lift then…
- South Bowl
- Upper Stacy's, Stacy's, then Lower Green Canyon
- Max Out, The Ridge, The Cut, Rock Garden
- Skyline Lift - Liftline
- Pebble Lane
But, I don't hit Pebble super often - so, I'm sure there are many better routes (especially for tree runs or “off piste”).
Normally, I take photos everywhere, but it looks like I forgot to this time. Instead, I offer you YouTube videos and Google image results!
